Hook Cottage self catering accommodation
is situated on the Hook Peninsula in County Wexford, Ireland.
We are within two hours car journey from
Dublin Airport on the M50 motorway, and the same distance from Cork.
Waterford Airport is just 40 minutes away by car. Wexford Town and New
Ross are both within 30 minutes drive by car.

The recently renovated stone farmhouse was originally built in the
late 1700's. The original barn, forge and stable have been
sympathetically renovated and extended to create spacious,
high quality,
self-catering accommodation.
The Stable,
Forge and Barn face the
courtyard and each boast a private garden. Secure parking is within the
courtyard.

Hook Cottage is located at the edge of
Fethard-on-Sea village, just ten minutes' walk away from Grange beach. Fethard Harbour is about 25 minutes walk at the far end of the village.
Fethard-on-Sea itself is a quaint
village, comprising all standard amenities. An excellent array of sporting activities and entertainment
is available all within walking distance. The community is friendly,
warm and welcoming and sure to make you relax and enjoy your stay with
us. The Village has three pubs,
one of which serves traditional pub fare with a modern twist. During the
summer season the pubs provide evening entertainment. Eateries
comprise a Chinese restaurant, two take-away businesses and a quaint
cafe. |

To entertain the children, there is a newly built playground
across from the mini-market and pharmacy.
Every Thursday night you can play
Bingo in the local hall.
You will find a skincare salon,
beautician, hair salon, post office, bookmakers, mini-market and
chemist/pharmacy.

In the summer you can buy fresh
produce, organic eggs, arts & crafts, home
baking, chutneys and jams, home-grown vegetables and plants at the local indoor
Country Market every Saturday from 10h30 to 12h00.
